Review of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017) by Bfoore90 — 03 Jul 2018

Starts out a little formulaic but once it gets itself going its surprisingly original while it pales in comparison to the original Jumanji, the cast is really good especially Jack Black, Nick Jonas and Karen Gillian.

The Rock is also charismatic enough to carry the movie and even Kevin Hart offers up a few good scenes to justify his character. However, the villain is essentially pointless, offers little motivation and does little to impress.

Nick Jonas's character offers the best arc, you start to root for him by films end and I give Jonas the credit for actually making his character as good as it was.
