Review of Jumanji (1995) by Jordan K — 26 Apr 2014
130516: Purchased this movie at an antique store in Bashaw. Have always wanted to see it and now that I have an eight year old son, seemed apropos. I remember seeing the previews. Not sure why I waited 18 years but almost wish I hadn't.
Other than the dated special effects, this must have been a great movie on its release. What an enjoyable hour and a half. We both loved it, even with the old school FX. Great film. Almost want to give it a four.
How come they've never done a Jumanji 2? I see there's supposedly a remake on the horizon. Cool.
