Review of Jumanji (1995) by Dan H — 09 Sep 2014
A film about a game that has the ability to alter reality....sounds pretty cool, doesn't it? Well, it is. This adventure film for kids is one of the best kids films, with Robin Williams at the top of his game (him and the fun and sometimes scary chaos that ensues once the game starts are the main reasons to see this film).
The characters may have thin development, and there's not much of a story but Jumanji is definitely worth a watch because it's tons of fun...even for adults (or those that are old enough to remember it from their youth, like me).
An unfortunate side effect after the watching the movie is you may feel inspired to play the game of the same name that was released when the film was (If you are lucky to get your hands on a copy that is, they seem to be fairly rare these days).
