Review of Julius Caesar (1953) by Scott S — 04 Dec 2012
Despite its excellent setting, trustworthy costumes, and great acting from Marlon Brando, this is something I would rather see be played on the theatres. The dialogue is performed too modernly, and too little Shakespeare-like.
And only those who are familiar with the play and understand the language will probably understand this film.
