Juliet suffers a spiritual malaise after suspecting that her husband is cheating on her. She's contacted by two different spirits and roams through her own maligned mental landscape in Federico Fellini's beautifully dazzling surrealist masterpiece.

Spirits could give you the sweetest of dreams or the most vivid of nightmares and you can see it's wide influence on all sorts of movies. The only part of the film I didn't care for was the overly tidy ending- but after all the ground that this film has broken that's a small imperfection.
