Review of Julien Donkey-Boy (1999) by Christopher B — 23 Oct 2007
I would like to give this movie one star or less, because it's an obtuse, arch, immature mess; unfortunately, Werner Herzog contributes one of the most brilliant comedic performances of modern media in this film, so I am forced to greatly admire what is otherwise a boil on the ass of post-modern cinema.
Just fast-forward to Werner's monologue about "Dirty Harry" - transcendent stuff.
