Review of Julie & Julia (2009) by Larry — 23 Aug 2009
The Julia side of this story was really excellent! The Julie side, while weaker, was nowhere near as bad as I expected from the professional reviewers. Her story served as a quite decent vehicle for delivering Julia.
In some sense, I think the professional reviewers got bogged down in details that had fairly little impact on the whole movie.
