Meryl Streep delivers another Oscar worthy performance in this charming film! Streep and Tucci are so perfect together that you'd never think this was acting. However, I want to concentrate on Adams because she does not get the credit she deserves.
It is very difficult to serve as the other half to the unforgettable Streep and add the fact that Julie is nowhere near perfect. You could very easily make the arguement that her role is more challenging (which it is not but still wonderful).
She makes this simple every woman just as interesting as Julia Child's larger than life character. And like Child herself that is no small feat.
