I wish this had been more about Julia Child than some nobody who wrote a blog, and subsequently had an affair. Meryl Streep is fantastic as Julia Child! Amy Adams is adorable as always, and does an excellent job portraying a mousy girl with a bleak future.
That being said, I found this to be very boring. It ended on a very sour note with Julia Child supposedly not liking Julie's blog. There was never any clarification of whether it was a rumor or not. The movie just ended. Boo. Terrible. This was a total waste of Meryl Streep's talent.
