Review of Julie & Julia (2009) by Aaron A — 15 Jul 2012

Meryl Streep is simply amazing in this film. It is a great movie made by the late and great Nora Ephron that I enjoy watching every now and then. It never fails to make me hungry and it inspires me to cook.

I bought a copy of Mastering the Art of French Cooking because of this movie, and I am so glad that I did! There are some truly wonderful recipes in the book and it is very educational. I do not, however, recommend the novel, especially after seeing the movie, because this is one of those rare cases where the movie is better than the book.

I highly recommend this film, and any others that are done by the amazing Nora Ephron.
