Wish I could give this movie 2 different ratings. One for Julie's part, and one for Julia's part. The part about Julia Child is inspiring, romantic, and heartfelt. Merly Streep is pitch perfect.
She does a great job at playing Julia without making it parody. I feel like the Julie parts of the movie try to be inspiring, romantic, and heartfelt, but somehing is missing. I don't know much about the real Julie Powell, but Amy Adams representation of her was not very likable.
I found myself not caring if she suceeded.
