Okay, first I don't know exactly why I put this title in my que, except that I like food and I've always been curious about why Julia Child was so popular. I mean, have you ever seen one of her TV shows? Anyway, it turned out to be an interesting story.

Julia Child learned to cook because she liked to eat. Juile Powell liked to cook because it was an escape from the stress of her day job. I identify with both of them there. Anyway, if you're even a little curious about Child's popularity and/or like good food, this show is worth watching.

BTW, my main interest is Philippine and Asian cooking, and for that, I'm married to the master chef! Sorry, France.
