Review of Jules and Jim (1962) by Max S — 14 Jan 2008
Jules et Jim is beautifully filmed. And the theme of infidelity that runs throughout is often intriguing; these characters aren't perfect by nature and their attempts to change their behavior only results in more pain.
The film's narrative sometimes failed to interest me as the pacing and even the ideas it presents were inconsistent and contradictory.
