Review of Jules and Jim (1962) by Adam S — 06 Jun 2008

This was re-released in theatres a couple of weeks ago... most likely to correspond with its 46th anniversary.

(oh, those iconic 46th anniversaries!).

So... I can't help it. everytime I watch a Truffaut film I ask myself the question: 'what would godard have done'? in this case the answer would probably be 'not this film'.

Fine performances, memorable scenes, but a story that wears a little rough on me... very good anachronistic music.
