Review of Jules and Jim (1962) by Luke P — 11 Jun 2008
Way to sum up life and love in less than two hours! Beautiful, beautiful film. One of the best, and highlights the main questions and conflicts I find most important in life. Catherine is beautiful, caring, selfish and crazy--an early incarnation of "Eternal Sunshine"'s Clementine, and Jim and Jules are also great as friends with their contrasting flaws and passions.
Beats Truffaut's entire "400 Blows" series in one swing.
