Review of Jules and Jim (1962) by Özkan T — 02 Sep 2008
One of the best French new wave films and a prototype for all love triangle films (such as Willie and Phil). It's also a vast improvement over the novel. Jeanne Moreau is at her most remote and most magnificent.
It perfectly captures the destructive potential in love. Perhaps the best romantic film ever. Woody Allen wishes he made a film this great.
