Review of Jules and Jim (1962) by Thomas F — 08 Mar 2009
My sister introduced me to this film. She also introduced me to the book by Henri Pierre Roche. I was fascinated by it, by the relationship between the main three characters and mystified that I could not take sides against Jules nor Jim.
It started a lifelong interest into the world of the Belle Epoque and opened a lot of other doors for me into the world of French film and literature. All in all a truly great film.
