Review of Jules and Jim (1962) by Kilo D — 29 Sep 2012
A magical tale of love and betrayal and one of Francois Truffaut's finest films, "Jules and Jim" is unforgettable. The movie is a blast from the clever editing, to Raoul Coutards wide- shots and zooms, and the heart crushing acting from the main trio of Moreau, Serre, and Werner.
The honest beauty of the story coupled with gorgeous settings imagined wonderfully in black and white is only a luxury to a movie that already comes off as too much of a delight.
