Review of Juice (1992) by Brad M — 17 Sep 2010
The movie that showcased what a raw talent 2pac was in the realm of acting. Ironically, due to the gritty and realistic portrayal of Bishop, many saw this as 2pac instead of the character, so the moniker seemed to haunt him for the rest of his career.
I'm a big fan of the urban genre, and this just may be my top entry along with Menace II Society. The characters know they're doing wrong, yet seem unable to drag themselves out of the misery of poverty and hopelessness of their situation.
Riveting stuff.
