Review of Judgment Night (1993) by Colin F — 02 Feb 2010
This was a good thriller. The basic plot is a group of guys going to a boxing match in the city. But they try and take a short cut but get lost in a gang invested area of the city. They end up stuck in the bad area of town and witness a murder.
Now a gang wants them dead and they are on the run in a area that does not want to help them in fear of repercussion from the gangs. The movie stars Emilio Estevez, Cuba Gooding Jr., Jeremy Piven and Denis Leary.
The movie has a solid story and a great cast. Denis Leary was great as the gang leader. He was a great villain. The movie has that nice blend of action and suspense for a good thriller. I enjoyed this movie.
Well worth a watch.
