Review of Judgment at Nuremberg (1961) by Todd S — 28 Nov 2005
Who knew a three-hour, older black & white dramatization of a WWII war-crime trial could be entertaining? It was. I was concerned going into this one that it might come off as more documentary than drama but it steered away from a tight, too-the-facts presentation and leaned towards drama.
Certainly a couple of oscar-worthy (and won) performances on display. And heck, you get William Shatner as a bonus! I had to laugh, if he was wearing a gold tunic it would have looked like it was an older Star Trek show.
I was secretly hoping they'd show him rendevous with Spock and McCoy at some point but, sadly, it wasn't to be..
