Review of Judgment at Nuremberg (1961) by Jennifer S — 17 Nov 2007
A very good movie. Good theme (Hitler's judges on trial for letting the law slip from their hands by imperceptible steps), good plot (an American judge giving a death sentence in mounting pressure to give a lenient sentence), good characterization (Spencer Tracy and the German judge's conflict is excellent), good style (surprisingly for a black-white movie, there is no melodrama).
I strongly recommend Judgment at Nuremberg.
