Review of Judgment at Nuremberg (1961) by Donald Z — 10 Oct 2009
My biggest fear going into the movie was that it was going to be pure and simple propaganda. Thankfully, I was wrong. The movie critically engaged with the problematics it raised, showing multiple sides to every issue.
Sadly, the ending was pretty much a dig at communism, but I can almost forgive that. The acting was stellar, but what else would you expect from an all-star cast? A solid movie all around.
