Review of Judgment at Nuremberg (1961) by Anna L — 28 Nov 2010
Great legal drama about German judges and determining if their responsibility for carrying out the nazis orders merits prison sentences. Nuremberg sports an impressive cast lead by Spencer Tracy and surprisingly William Shattner in a role where he does not overact.
The main problem with the film is its length, it is 3 hours long, and to be honest, I am pretty sure that they could have cut out at least 45 minutes and it would not have hurt the narrative, but other then that, it is a really solid film.
