Review of Judge Dredd (1995) by Matt N — 22 Jan 2009
Just a Fun No-Brainer. Yeah, it's cheesy, very cheesy; Sly Stallone is "the Law", Diane Lane is his love-interest, Rob Schneider is the whiny sidekick, James Earl Jones does the opening narration and behold, actual actors Armand Assante, Jurgen Prochnow and Max von Sydow are stuck in supporting roles.
The Production, mainly the warrior robot were fairly amusing. Judge Dredd thankfully doesn't make any attempts to provide depth of any sort, just Stallone kicking ass for a hour-&-half.
