Here is the thing about Judge Dredd - the adaptation of the British Comic Book Series to live action seems wrong. Everything itself from showing Dredd's face to how the genre become is all wrong itself.
Still, if it stands alone the movie is kind of fun. The action on the other hand is pretty much Stallone style, with his infamous slur and all. Armand Assante as Rico did a good job at it. Overall, the movie just does not live up much expectation but to just watch it as a stand alone sci-fi action flick, it is pretty decent.
