Review of Judge Dredd (1995) by Rob Ó — 04 Jan 2012
A ridiculous exploration of SPECIFICALLY how NOT to make a comic book movie; if not for Schwarzenegger's Freeze Puns two years later, this might go down as the 1990s' worst crime against superhero cinema.
So completely inept, blasphemous and poorly conceived that it very quickly turns around and becomes one of Stallone's more entertaining actioners for all of the wonderfully wrong reasons. The plot is a warped rehash of Demolition Man, which also starred Stallone.
Also, Rob Schneider. A Drinking Game fan's favourite film. I noo yewd say dat.
