Look here this movie rocks. Stallone is the perfect choice for Judge Dredd and seeing everyone calling him and the movie "dreddful" is a crime punishable by death and the fact that they had to reboot it because they hated this film comes to the point of murdering everyone for not liking this film.
It's not really bad and it does find a decent balance between action movies and comic book movies and even if you think it is at the slightest, that is all part of the fun not because of the "so bad it's good" territory but it's actually good! Stallone even gave his reaction once saying that he liked the script because it was right for him.
It's not what he said but he had a huge paragraph and I just shortened it about how he felt even if you bastards bashed on this film for no reason. Look you blindos they guy was born to play Judge Dredd from the start.
He's literally been playing it his whole life: Rambo, Rocky, Demolition Man, The Expendables, the list goes on. The same thing when Michael Keaton played Batman, Tobey Maguire played Spider-Man and Ben Affleck played Daredevil.
They've been playing these characters their whole lives because you can literally see by their real life attitudes. Judge Dredd gets a 9.8/10.
