Review of Joy Ride (2012) by Kyle W — 04 Oct 2007
I had mixed felling about this film. it wasn't aweful, but it wasn't spectacular, it was just average. however, they left alot of blanks, alot of suspicion. thats usually a good thing, but here it was tiring.
they never showed him, or any of the killing or how he did the murders. there was no gore or horror about it except the fact he followed them and tried to strike revenge of hurting his feelings. kinda lame but it gave you a scare because if you were them you'd be shitting your pants.
the ending was great in the hotel room and not finding him, a very phonebooth kind of ending. leelee sobieski did a great job, and steve zahn and paul walker weren't as bad as they usually are. just a sub par film that could have been better, but left too many pothole in that script of theirs.
maybe next time you fuck around on a CB and just keep to yourself.
