Review of Joy Ride (2012) by Michael T — 21 Jan 2009

Okay, the basic plot is stolen fron Spielberg's DUEL in which a psychotic truck driver chases a 1970s-era sedan through the deserts of the American Southwest (and there is never a State Trooper around when you need one).

Good acting from the three leads, particularly the always enjoyable Steve Zahn and a desire to take the plot in different directions helps this one to rise above its DUEL-ripoff competition.
