Before I start review for the horror thriller 2001 film joy ride I am going to present a horror film timeline from the decade of 2000-2010 well history wise 2000 we all thought the world was going to end 2001 9/11 happened 2007 virginia tech massacre and 2009 the death of farrah fawcett and michael jackson. now here is the horror film timeline.

Now finally the review for the 2001 horror thriller film called joy ride which tells the story of a young man named lewis thomas which who is picking up a friend which then finds out his brother fuller thomas is in jail which he then gets him out which later on they get followed by a truck driver while they were doing a joke to harrass truck driver rusty nail which then tries to kill them and making them do things that they dont want to do because if they disobey someone or they die from the killing from rusty joy ride is a great horror film with a great throwback of 1971's duel and another throwback of 1986's the hitcher all in one joy ride is a great film highly recommended for any horror fan a great horror film hidden gem highly recommended when the film had came out on october 5th 2001 a few weeks after the september 11th 2001 aka 9/11 tragedy the film had opened at #5 because of the denzel washington and ethan hawke cop thriller drama trainning day highly recommended a great horror thriller that never stops being chilling and very scary till you cant sleep.
