Review of Joy Ride 2: Dead Ahead (2009) by Igor K — 01 Dec 2009

I didn't see this first part but I belive it has to be more or less similar to this one. A very cliche thriller horror road movie about a demented trucker who tortures 4 youngsters. The storyline is more or less straightforward with some interest in waiting what shall be Rusty Nails next "idea".

The acting, the effects everything is an old deja vu, with decent cast for this type of a B movie, but the last 10 minutes brought it a little bit down from the average. The too easy killing of mad trucker, the sudden change of night in morning in 10 seconds and some other irritating things nailed this one to the B list.

In a rainy boring afternoon it can pass for passing time and there is an important lesson to be learn: never hitch a truck in a middle of nowhere!
