Some of life's rarest moments would include a family of whales diving around in the ocean during a special time of the season, the blooming of the first rose in Spring, or Paul Walker delivering a great performance in a movie.

With the combination of that, the lightheartedness and engaging of Steve Zahn, and pure 100% tension and suspense, you can bask in what stands as a terrific film. Joy Ride is about Walker heading cross-country on a road trip to pick up his crush (the boring Leelee Sobieski), but not before bailing out his troublemaker brother (Zahn) out of jail.

They both play a mean-spirited prank on a trucker, which winds up being a huge fucking mistake as this trucker begins a cat and mouse game with them, tormenting them every step of the way. I love the how the film downplays its villain by never showing his face and keeping him regulated to a very chilling voice on the CB radio (done VERY well by Ted Levine).

All in all, this film is tense, suspenseful, and a lot of fun to watch. Good stuff.
