Review of Joy Ride (1958) by Prince Aldrene E — 25 May 2014
Surprisingly, I thoroughly enjoyed Joy Ride. Relying on suspense and pathological horror more than gore and violence, Joy Ride manages to take its seemingly trite premise and develop it in always surprising and engaging ways.
Walker, Sobieski, and Walker also deliver solid performances that help drive this thoroughly enjoyable horror film that could have easily been a rip-off of Stephen Spielberg's Duel.....
