An incredible documentary. Not so much in that in revealed new information about Joy Division, but just the amazing cinematography. I feel like this film more then any other single piece of media, perfectly captured the modern, industrial, isolated angst of Post-Punk.
Control and maybe even 24 Hour Party People do a better job of actually presenting Joy Division's story, but this film just puts you in the scene, the place, and the era so much better then anything else by far.
