Review of Joy (2015) by L.a. P — 13 Jan 2016
I've watched Joy Mangano, the inspiration fir this movie, on HSN for years and often thought to myself that she could see ice cubes to Eskimos. It was great fun to see how she got her start. JLaw heads up a really great cast, especially Robert Deniro as her crusty, difficult dad.
Even if you're not a fan of home shopping or have any idea who Joy is, I think you'll enjoy this American success story.
