If this film did not have millions of dollars in hit music placement in it, it would have been sent straight to video. The incredible songs carry the movie, much like they did in O. Russell's last film AMERICAN HUSTLE.
There are a few great scenes that give you a peek at what could have been, but in the end this is a very uneven film.
