Jennifer Lawrence should be the Oscar front runner for this challenging performance of overcoming obstacles from every angle, but the character and her dysfunctional family will likely limit her chances.
The family is chaos and leaves you with a continuos tension as one watches the film. It's a brilliant movie of overcoming failure if you can stomach it.
