Review of Joy (2015) by Mary A — 10 May 2016
I LOVED THIS MOVIE!!! For those of you who panned the movie, most likely you have never ever in your life had a brilliant product or idea that you knew was the next first world panacea. This is what you would have experienced had you ridden the entrepreneur rollercoaster; i.
E., invented a marvelous product, grew a pair, strapped them on tight and put yourself so far out there on a limb... so very very way way far far beyond your comfort zone and financially, against your original plans been forced to hock yourself up to your eye balls because in a deeply visceral way you actually believed in yourself, and just knew you were onto something BIG, so far BEYOND YOURSELF.
This is what it feels like to have the balls and courage to go for it!! Even when your complicated, jealous family was fucking you over and licensed advisers were screwing you. I understand that you don't get this movie because of the position you chose in your myopic mentally brain dead virtual reality naugahyde recliner you've wasted your life napping in.
This movie so accurately shows the honest truth and beastiality of business. This is the TRUTH being delivered to you in the most heartbreakingly realistic movie. Trust me, this movie delivers to you the sickening, frightening and profoundly rewarding life of what it is to be an entrepreneur with a universally marketable product.
Where your family and friends quickly become your enemies and luck shows up in the most unexpected people and places. Great job Jennifer and the entire cast! Excellent choice of projects for every one of you.
Each character was delivered well defined and delivered with a scalpel precision.
