Stephen Chow brings the same crazy over the top style from his other films Kung Fu Hustle and Shaolin Soccer and thanks to imaginative visuals, elaborately staged stunts and slapstick inspired by silent Hollywood.
It's easily one of the best adaptations of Wu Cheng'en's classic novel.
