1 out of 5 - Boring movie, not even based on Verne's novel, rather inspired by it. The action, of which there isn't nearly enough, comes across as a poor man's "Indy and The Temple of Doom", and some elements are so childlish they make this a strictly kids-only fare.

Let's not even get into the science behind this...Poor kids! 3D does little to bolster it (as if people playing with yoyos would ever make a film better).
