Review of Journey to the Center of the Earth (2008) by Wesley E — 12 Nov 2011
The best part of this movie is the cast and their chemistry. Brendan Fraser, Josh Hutcherson, and Anita Briem (in an outstanding, likeable performance) all have terrific comedic timing together. The story is fun and fresh.
While some of the visuals are stunning, I wish the film didn't try so hard to be a 3D movie. I get that it's 3D, I don't need a yo-yo or a pocketknife popping out at me. Overall, it's a fun movie that I reccomend to kids and their parents.
