Well, um. The kids liked it. They spent many days afterward running around in backpacks reenacting the movie and saving me from dinosaurs.
It was utterly ridiculous. The fighting giant venus fly traps and playing baseball with giant man eating fish and needing a flare to light magnesium in a cavern full of magma - really. I mean could they at least attempt to make a bit more 'scientific'?
It was entertaining though and Brenden Fraser does the trying-to-hard-to-be-clever-and-unwittingly-humorous-hero well.
