Review of Journey 2: The Mysterious Island (2012) by Kevin H — 21 Jul 2012

More or less the same as the first Journey, with a almost different cast or course. The film felt more like an amusement park ride. Kids might like it, but it doesn't offer much to older viewers aside from some side jokes and thrills.

The CGI is pretty awful in a few scenes though, but was decent in others. Overall, it's a movie about the incredible world of books, and while it may not be the most entertaining film of the year, there's not much that's really bad about it.
