Review of Journey 2: The Mysterious Island (2012) by Charles V — 01 Aug 2013
Its laughable that this film has no sense of distance.
While riding giant bees at what seems like speeds of over 120 mph. a character rides for about 3 min beyond the point were his companions fell when he himself touches ground around 36 miles later, it takes his companions less than 20 seconds to catch up to him on foot.
Also a mountain that was left behind what may seem like 120 miles away ( after the bee ride) is reached and climbed by one of the characters in a matter a mere few hours.
It is to be noted that this is supposed to be a secret island discovered by only a handful of men and left mostly hidden to civilization, and yet it appears to have the size of australia.
