Journey 2: The Mysterious Island seems like its trying to be pure fun, but the script makes it seem too juvenile for adults, and maybe even boring for some kids. It has all good intentions, all its just trying to be an adventure film that will make some money, but it's crushed by a dull script and special effects that make it too much like a animated TV show.
