In this story of a small girl band (Josie and the Pussycats), that wants to make it to the big top, three young beautiful women, Josie (Rachael Leigh Cook), the ditzy Melody (Tara Reid), and the tough Valerie (Rosario Dawson), are catapulted to the top of the charts.
But quickly after being discovered by Wyatt (Alan Cumming) uncover a widespread conspiracy headed by Fiona (Parker Posey), a tyrannical record mogul, to brainwash the youth of America.
Also stars Gabriel Mann, Paulo Costanzo, Missi Pyle and Tom Butler.
