Review of Josie and the Pussycats (2001) by Robert I — 11 Feb 2010

Absolutely one of the most fun movies I've seen. The replay value is amazing. I never get tired of watching it. And the "Pussycats" songs are enjoyable also. I can't count how many times I've found myself humming out "Punk Rock Prom Queen." I'm somewhat saddened that Rachel Leigh Cook's star didn't go through the roof following this, as I've always enjoyed her work, even in thankless roles such as in "The Final Season.".

For parents concerned about the PG-13 issues, I initially purchased a "family friendly" version at Wal Mart, which cut out some of the more teen-themed content, but there's really very little difference.
