This movie can really be viewed through one of two lenses. The first is an obviously ridiculous teen drama filled with gratuitous product placement. However, watching this movie through a satirical lens critiquing the pop world of the late nineties gives it depth and intelligence beyond its playful exterior.
For this reason alone, not to mention the large amount of quotable lines, this movie is worth the time to watch...(join the Army).
