Review of Joshy (2016) by Mike C — 30 Jan 2017
A lot of potential here, even if hipster potential. Whatever that means. You have a band of young actors, some hipster characters, and what could be a great story.
A tragedy sets the film in motion and the guys get together to more or less escape from it all. Instead, a couple more friends get involved and things begin to spiral out of control.
Still some decent performances in there. It's a nice cast of anti-macho men. Middleditch's imitation of Harry Caray is definitely the highlight of the movie. Might not say much for the rest of the movie, but you'd have to see that imitation. Spot on.
